Job summary

MAXBOND SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Quantity Surveyor to manage project administration, contract documentation, and progress claims, ensuring accurate payments and cost control for timely project closure.

The role involves preparing monthly progress claims, variation orders, final accounts, and bills of quantities, plus site surveys and tender support. Diploma holder with 3+ years' experience and AutoCAD knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD to support quantity take-offs and project documentation.
• Experience working with waterproofing subcontractor companies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to manage contract and payment issues.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Availability to start work at short notice or immediately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly progress claims, variation order submissions, and final accounts to facilitate timely contract closure
• Calculate quantities and prepare detailed bills of quantities for project costing and tendering
• Monitor progress claims and resolve discrepancies with clients to ensure accurate payments
• Assist in tender preparation by verifying accurate inclusion of costing elements
• Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, variations, cost reports, and site measurements for audit and reporting purposes
• Review and negotiate final payments with contractors and subcontractors to resolve payment discrepancies
• Conduct site surveys as required to support project documentation and claims
