Job summary

Unitech E and C is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to oversee tender management, contract administration, and financial control for construction projects in Singapore. The role requires coordinating with construction teams, vendors, and clients to ensure accurate quantities, costs, and compliance with tender specifications.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying and Building or equivalent; 2 years relevant experience in construction or related field.
• Knowledge of market updates and construction cost trends.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Tender Management: review specifications, invite bids from approved/new subcontractors, align with construction team on scope, clarify assumptions.
• Contract Management: prepare contract documents, re-measure quantities, evaluate quotations, issue LOI/LOA, administer variation orders.
• Financial and Commercial Management: manage progressive/subcontractor payments, monitor deductions, process vendor payments, review budgets.
• Vendor Management: update vendor list, conduct pre-qualification, negotiate site works, evaluate performance after project completion.
