18 STEPS PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to lead contract administration, cost control and commercial activities across project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Studies or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying within the building construction industry.
• Experience with a Main Contractor will be highly advantageous.
• Experience on Residential, Commercial building developments will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of contract administration, cost control, variations, subcontract management, CAD software, BIM, and MS Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Manage contract administration, variation works and commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Source suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain competitive quotations and manage tender processes for construction projects
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, tender submissions and contractual documentation.
• Manage project cost control, subcontract administration, progress claims and final accounts.
• Evaluate subcontractors' payment claims and variation submissions.
• Prepare and submit variation orders, progress claims and final accounts.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), carry out measurements, and compile progress claims to support cost tracking and reporting
• Work closely with the Project Manager on additional project-related tasks to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
• Support procurement and administration of subcontract packages.
