Job summary

Rolls-Royce Corporation is offering an internship in Seletar, Singapore, from January to May/June 2026. You will join the General Counsel Commercial Team, a customer-facing unit of the Civil Aerospace Customer Team, and work on meaningful projects from day one.

You’ll develop skills in pricing, contract administration, negotiation, and risk assessment, with guidance from experienced colleagues in a global company. The programme includes education allowance and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursue opportunities to maximise profit and cash by pricing and business cases.
• Instruct and administer new business agreements to secure opportunities.
• Interact with customers across Asia Pacific and Greater China for resolutions.
• Identify risks and liabilities in commercial solutions and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Pursuing all opportunities to maximise profit and cash for the company by managing or supporting pricing and business cases, and instructing and administering new business agreements to fully secure these opportunities.
• Negotiating the resolution of claims, disputes and litigation to minimise cost and risk to the company through direct interaction with customers across the Asia Pacific and Greater China regions.
• Helping to manage any potential market perception issues.
• Managing customer restructurings, rehabilitations and insolvencies through to conclusion to provide the best possible outcome for the business
• Supporting internal approval sessions relating to the issues being managed to ensure a timely response can be provided to customers
• Identifying potential risks and liabilities inherent in commercial solutions and/or existing contracts.
• Negotiating contracts or contract amendments to minimise or mitigate these, using judgement to balance commercial and legal considerations against the requirements of the business
• Interfacing with specialist departments, as required, to obtain advice and guidance, and evaluating and applying this as appropriate
• Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, guidelines and the contracting framework in line with relevant governance requirements
• Delivering and supporting continuous improvement and commercial best practice activities for the business and General Counsel function
• Maintaining frequent and clear communication internally across all issues being managed.
