Job summary

HP Singapore seeks a 5–6 month full-time intern to develop a system using ML/AI to analyze printed images, focusing on object recognition and anomaly detection with root cause analysis. Eligible candidates are undergraduates in CS/AI or related fields, with familiarity in ML, dashboarding, and root cause analysis.

• Implement robust anomaly detection for spotting print artifacts, misprints, distortions and design flaws, with potential root cause analysis.
• Create a user-friendly interface for image upload, analysis and dashboarding.

• Documentation and performance evaluation report with the results and analysis of the model.
• Accurate object detection, anomaly identification and root cause analysis system from variety of printed images for various customer segments.
• An intuitive and easy to use system that performs efficiently for processing large volumes of images with comprehensive dashboarding.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

• Undergraduate in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or related studies.
• Able to commit for a 5-6 months full time internship, starting in January 2027.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning, Root Cause Analysis, Dashboarding.
