Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Collateral Management professional in Singapore to manage daily collateral operations, margin calls, reconciliations and client reporting. You will liaise with internal teams and clients, ensuring accurate processing and adherence to regulatory requirements.

The role requires 3–7 years in collateral management or related areas, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Alteryx/Power BI for reporting insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking or related discipline.

• 3–7 years in collateral management, derivatives operations, middle office, or related banking function.
• Good understanding of collateral management, margin calls, settlements, reconciliations and dispute handling.
• Familiarity with OTC derivatives, securities lending, repo transactions or capital markets operations.
• Experience managing client and counterparty interactions on collateral activities and issues.
• Analytical mindset with ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Knowledge of operational risk, controls and regulatory requirements in financial services.
• Proficiency with Excel for data analysis, reconciliation and reporting.
• Experience with data visualization, automation or reporting tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily collateral management activities including margin call calculations, processing, settlements, reconciliations, and exception management.
• Monitor collateral exposures and ensure timely issuance, receipt and settlement of margin calls per client agreements and regulations.
• Investigate and resolve collateral disputes, breaks, valuation differences and operational issues with counterparties and internal teams.
• Conduct cash and securities collateral reconciliations to ensure accurate positions and risk coverage.
• Support collateral activities across OTC derivatives, cleared products and securities finance transactions.
• Produce management information reports, operational metrics and client reporting within deadlines.
• Monitor controls and ensure adherence to internal policies, risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and contribute to process improvement, automation and workflow optimization.
• Utilize Excel, Alteryx, Power BI and other tools to improve reporting accuracy and insights.
• Assist in incident management, root cause analysis and remediation activities.
• Collaborate with Relationship Management, Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance and Operations to deliver a high-quality client experience.
• Assist onboarding of new clients, products or processes where required.
• Participate in system testing, change initiatives and strategic collateral projects.
