Job summary

ORCA MARKETING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Cold Room Production Butcher to join the production team. The role involves preparing, cutting and packing meat products while upholding high standards of quality, hygiene and workplace safety.

Responsibilities include cutting, deboning and portioning meat, ensuring accurate labeling, and maintaining cleanliness in production areas. Prior butchery or meat-processing experience is preferred; food safety certification is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience in butchery, meat-processing or food production preferred.
• Basic knife-handling and meat-cutting skills are advantageous.
• Comfortable working in a cold-room environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, debone and portion meat according to specifications.
• Prepare meat products based on orders and production needs.
• Weigh, pack, vacuum-seal and label products correctly.
• Check quality before packing and report concerns.
• Follow food-hygiene and cold-chain procedures.
• Operate knives and cutting equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and areas.
• Follow PPE requirements and safety rules.
• Assist with stock arrangement and other duties as needed.
• Follow instructions from Production Manager and supervisors.
