Job summary

Carlitos Casa de Comidas in Singapore is seeking a passionate Bar Supervisor to lead day-to-day bar operations, deliver memorable guest experiences, and support the team in fast-paced service. You will welcome guests, confidently recommend cocktails and wines, monitor drink quality, and collaborate with kitchen and floor teams to ensure seamless service and atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar bar or supervisory role.
• Strong interest and knowledge in cocktails, wines, spirits and beverages.
• Experience in a bar, restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Spanish cuisine, wines or beverages is a plus.
• Food Hygiene Certificate Level 1 is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day bar operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Welcome and engage guests with warm, attentive hospitality.
• Take orders and recommend cocktails, wines, and drinks based on guest preferences.
• Develop relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage menu including cocktails, wines and spirits.
• Support team in maintaining drink quality and service standards.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, bar setup and stock checks.
• Monitor bar inventory and assist with stock ordering and storage.
• Train and guide team members on beverage knowledge and bar procedures.
• Coordinate with kitchen and floor teams for seamless service.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bar area.
