Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bar Supervisor, Senior Bartender or experienced Bartender in a restaurant, bar or hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and non‑alcoholic beverages
• Confident taking ownership of the bar and working independently during service
• Strong organisational skills and attention to cleanliness, preparation and consistency
• Experience with stock control, ordering, wastage and inventory management
• Good communication skills and a team‑first approach
• Comfortable training and supporting other team members on beverage knowledge and bar procedures
• Able to work weekends, public holidays and rotating shifts as required

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the day‑to‑day operation and readiness of the bar
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer and non‑alcoholic drinks to a consistently high standard
• Maintain strong mise en place, bar organisation and preparation before and throughout service
• Ensure all drinks are prepared according to agreed recipes and presentation standards
• Manage stock levels, ordering, replenishment, wastage and inventory control
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and bar organisation
• Support the implementation of bar SOPs, opening and closing procedures and beverage recipes
• Work closely with the General Manager and front of house team to ensure smooth service flow
• Train and support team members on beverage knowledge and basic bar service
• Monitor guest feedback, beverage quality and operational issues and take initiative where required
• Contribute ideas and feedback to the beverage programme where appropriate
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with company and regulatory standards
