Job summary

Tuas Power Generation Pte Ltd is seeking a Civil/Structural Project Manager in the Project Management department to oversee civil and structural engineering for all project phases from feasibility to commissioning. You will manage cost estimation, scheduling, risk assessment and coordinate with consultants, vendors and contractors to deliver on time, within budget and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Willing to complete PUB training and assessments for Flood Protection Manager.
• At least 8 years of civil/structural engineering experience in major industrial, power, utilities or infrastructure projects.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (Civil) in Singapore, or working towards registration.
• Experience with foundations, piling, reinforced concrete and steel structures, drainage and underground services.
• Experience preparing technical specifications, evaluating tenders and managing consultant/contractor interfaces.
• Knowledge of Singapore civil/structural requirements, authority approval processes and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out project development activities including project cost estimation, project scheduling and project risk assessment.
• Prepare technical specification and tender documents and be involved in contract negotiation.
• Conduct tender evaluation for the award of consultancy and EPC contracts.
• Carry out project management and contract management for EPC projects; and
• Maintain good working relationships and coordination with consultants, key equipment vendors, contractors for the development and implementation of new projects.
