TUAS POWER GENERATION PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced civil/structural engineer to manage and oversee project development from feasibility to commissioning.

The role includes cost estimation, scheduling, risk assessment, and coordinating with consultants, vendors, and contractors to meet safety and budget targets. You will coordinate coastal protection arrangements for Tuas and Jurong Island facilities, and may assume Flood Protection Manager duties under PUB requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• At least 8 years of relevant civil and structural engineering experience in major industrial, power, utilities or infrastructure projects.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (Civil) in Singapore, or working towards registration; relevant postgraduate training in geotechnical, coastal or structural engineering will be an advantage.
• Experience with foundations, piling, reinforced concrete and steel structures, drainage and underground services, preferably within an operating industrial site.
• Experience preparing technical specifications, evaluating tenders and managing consultant and contractor interfaces.
• Working knowledge of Singapore civil and structural requirements, authority approval processes and workplace safety requirements.
• Able and willing to complete PUB-required training and assessments and meet the applicable requirements before appointment as Flood Protection Manager.

Responsabilités

• Carry out project development activities including project cost estimation, project scheduling and project risk assessment;
• Prepare technical specification and tender documents and be involved in contract negotiation;
• Conduct tender evaluation for the award of consultancy and EPC contracts;
• Carry out project management and contract management for EPC projects; and
• Maintain good working relationships and coordination with consultants, key equipment vendors, contractors for the development and implementation of new projects;
• Develop and coordinate coastal protection arrangements for the Tuas Power group of facilities in Tuas and Jurong Island; act as Coastal Protection Manager and Flood Protection Manager as required.
• Ensure compliance with statutory standards, company policies and safety requirements.
