Job summary

Completion Products Pte Ltd is seeking a CNC Machinist to produce machined parts by programming, setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes within a fast-paced oil and gas manufacturing environment.

The role involves planning, programming, setup, verification by measurement, and strict adherence to quality and safety procedures; overtime and rotating shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• NITEC/O or N Levels qualification required.
• 1–2 years of fast-paced oil and gas manufacturing experience.
• Shop-floor environment experience.
• Physically fit with good eye-sight.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Able to work rotating shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications.
• Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation.
• Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
• Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years working experience in a fast-pace oil and gas manufacturing environment.

• Able to work rotating shift and overtime on weekdays, weekends and sometimes public holidays.
