Job summary

ACEZ INSTRUMENTS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced CNC Machinist (Turning) to join our precision manufacturing team in Singapore. The role focuses on CNC programming, interpreting drawings, and producing high-quality components to exact specifications.

You will create and modify G-code, perform in-process inspections with precision tools, and contribute to continuous improvement in tooling, processes, and quality. Independent work and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience for turning.
• Skilled in threading operations (NPT/BSP) and M-code programming.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and diagrams.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools for quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety, health, and quality policies.
• Interpret technical drawings to produce components per specifications.
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs when required.
• Perform finishing using Gun Drill and Milling Machines, including drilling fittings and holes for Thermowell (flange and track).
• Tapping track operations and hydrotesting on finished products.
• Engrave manufacturing information using the punching machine.
• Carry out grinding and polishing of components.
• Conduct in-process inspections with precision measuring tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in machines and work areas.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process, productivity, and quality.
• Perform manual programming using G-code for various designs and materials.

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist (Turning) to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in CNC programming, machining operations, and interpreting engineering drawings to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comply with all company safety, health, and quality policies.
• Interpret technical and engineering drawings to produce products according to specifications.
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs when required.
• Perform product finishing using Gun Drill and Milling Machines, including:
• Drilling fittings and holes for Thermowell (flange and track).
• Tapping track operations.
• Conduct hydrotesting on finished products.
• Perform engraving of manufacturing information (e.g., material type) using the punching machine.
• Carry out grinding and polishing of components.
• Perform engineering-related jobs such as multiple-point sensors and chamber fabrication.
• Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping practices in machines and work areas.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process, productivity, and quality.
• Proficiently perform manual programming using G-code for a variety of designs and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming for Turning machines.
• Experience in threading operations (NPT/BSP).
• Familiar with M-code programming for CNC control functions.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical diagrams.
• Good understanding of cutting tools, inserts, and materials used in CNC machining.
• Able to work independently.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure product accuracy.
