Job summary

US MNC in Singapore West is seeking a skilled Machining Technician to perform automated machining tasks and operate CNC machines, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production. You will navigate manufacturing systems and dashboards to monitor process performance and document procedures, with 3 years of relevant experience and a diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.

Candidate must be able to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in O&G industry.
• Basic computer and IT knowledge (MS Office).
• Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings/schematics.
• Good mindset for Continuous Improvement.
• Able to work under guidance and instruction of Senior Positions.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Know-how of Safety: MSOC and BHEST basics.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to workplace Safety per HSE policy.
• Perform basic maintenance of machine tools.
• Perform machine controls and operations.
• Perform CNC programming.
• Apply use of special tooling.
• Document operational procedures properly.
• Execute manufacturing across value streams.
• Describe real-time process performance on dashboards.
• Interface with robotic and automation equipment across value streams.
