Job summary

US MNC in Singapore West is seeking a skilled Machining Technician to perform automated machining tasks and operate CNC machines, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production. You will navigate manufacturing systems and dashboards to monitor process performance and document procedures, with 3 years of relevant experience and a diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.

Candidate must be able to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in O&G industry.
• Basic computer and IT knowledge (MS Office).
• Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings/schematics.
• Good mindset for Continuous Improvement.
• Able to work under guidance and instruction of Senior Positions.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Know-how of Safety: MSOC and BHEST basics.

Candidate must be able to work shift

Perform various automated machining activities to manufacture components and products to customer and industry requirements, ensuring machine operating tasks and activities are completed in line with Health, Safety, Environment and quality within agreed timeframes.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Adhere to workplace Safety, as defined in the HSE policy and procedures
• Perform basic maintenance of machine tools.
• Perform Machine controls and operations.
• Perform CNC programming.
• Able to apply the use of special tooling
• Ensure proper documentation of Operational procedures.
• Execute and maintain simultaneous manufacturing activities across value streams.
• Navigate data visualization platforms/manufacturing systems, describe real-time process performance, describe operational trends on metrics dashboards.
• Execute process interfaces with robotic & automation equipment within the value streams.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum Mechanical /Manufacturing / Production Engineering Diploma
• 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in O&G industry
• Possess Basic Computer& IT Knowledge (Microsoft Office Packages)
• Possess a basic Level of Applied Engineering Mathematics
• Able to interpret and understand Engineering Drawings / Schematics
• Has a good mindset for Continuous Improvement
• Able to work under guidance and instruction of Senior Positions
• Possess good Problem-Solving skills
• Metalworking Safety Orientation Course (MSOC)
• Basic Health Environment & Safety (BHEST)
