Job summary

Siltronic Silicon Wafer Pte Ltd is seeking an engineer to drive improvement projects in the CMP process. You will troubleshoot yield issues, ensure process steps meet quality and OEE targets, and collaborate with global technology teams to align processes and qualify new materials.

The role requires a strong background in CMP processing, data analysis, DOE and SPC, and the ability to work both independently and in teams. Applicants should have a relevant engineering degree and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Materials Science, MicroElectronics, or Physical Sciences (Chemistry, Physics). Master’s degree or Ph.D. is an advantage.
• More than 2-3 years’ experience in CMP process
• Knowledge of quality management systems, data analysis, DOE and SPC
• Proficient in statistical software like JMP, visual basic, database and queries will be an added advantage
• Able to work independently but also a team player

Responsibilities

• Executes improvement projects (cost, yield, capacity, capability, etc) for CMP process step under his / her responsibility.
• Responsible for meeting yield targets for CMP process. To troubleshoot and resolve problems affecting the CMP process.
• Ensure CMP process step under his / her responsibility is producing wafers with the quality, output that is specified (based on OEE).
• Authority to stop process step / equipment under his / her responsibility in accordance to procedures and guidelines defined.
• Work with Triad managers to implement improvement projects.
• Collaborate with Technology counterparts globally on CMP process alignment and qualification of new processes, suppliers and consumables if needed
• Supports training programs for process steps under his / her responsibility to staff.
