Job summary

RECRUIT EXPERT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Process Engineer to oversee manufacturing performance in a semiconductor setting.

You will collaborate with global teams on qualification, transfer, and evaluation of new materials while driving yield improvements and addressing quality issues. The role requires a degree in engineering or science and at least 2 years in semiconductor/manufacturing, with strong knowledge of SPC, DOE, and problem-solving techniques.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in semiconductor or precision manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of process control, quality systems, statistical analysis, SPC and DOE.
• Experience applying structured problem-solving techniques such as 8D, Fishbone analysis, DOE and FMEA.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as JMP; knowledge of Visual Basic, databases or query tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing process performance and work towards production, quality and yield objectives within a semiconductor environment.
• Partner with global technology teams and internal stakeholders on process qualification, process transfer and evaluation of new materials, suppliers and consumables.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to strengthen process capability, improve yield and address recurring process or quality issues.
• Analyse process data to identify trends, losses and improvement opportunities, coordinating technical investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop sustainable process solutions and improvement practices using structured problem-solving and statistical methodologies.
