Job summary

HUAWEI CLOUD is seeking an experienced professional to oversee information systems integration and stakeholder updates. You will assess existing architectures, guide staff on improvements, and ensure robust SDLC practices.

The role involves solving complex technical problems, supervising development teams, and researching emerging technologies to propose strategic changes. Degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience is expected, with multi-domain experience valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering or related field or proven equivalent experience.
• Experience with solution specification and evaluation.
• Experience with systems implementation and software development life cycle processes.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
• Experience in two or more domains such as business process, mobile apps, games, integration, analytics, security, CI/CD platforms, networks or databases.

Job Responsibilities:

• Building and integrating information systems within HUAWEI CLOUD to meet the company's needs.
• Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.
• Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions with improvements.
• Resolving technical problems as they arise.
• Providing supervision and guidance to development teams.
• Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
• Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.
• Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, although consideration will be given to experience and certifications in lieu of degree.
• Experience with solution specification and evaluation.
• Experience with systems implementation and software development life cycle processes.
• Previous project management experience is advantageous.
• Experience in at least TWO (2) of the following domains is required: business process, mobile apps, games, integration, analytics, security, CI/CD platforms, networks, databases.
• Experience in micro services or big data would be highly regarded but not essential.
