Job summary

MTS GLOBAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer to support the implementation, administration and operation of enterprise cloud environments in Singapore.

The role requires collaborating with infrastructure, network, security and application teams to keep cloud services secure, reliable and highly available. The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of cloud infrastructure experience, hands-on AWS and/or Azure, and a track record with automation, IaC and container technologies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in cloud infrastructure, systems administration or platform operations.
• Hands-on AWS and/or Azure experience.
• Windows and/or Linux administration skills.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, IAM, backups, monitoring.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code or automation tools is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD or DevOps is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and documentation skills.
• Good communication with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Based in Singapore with valid work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
• Monitor cloud environments and perform troubleshooting, incident resolution and root-cause analysis
• Support cloud migration, infrastructure provisioning and application deployment activities
• Administer virtual machines, storage, networking, access controls, backups and monitoring services
• Implement security controls, identity and access management, patching and vulnerability remediation
• Support cloud networking, including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, VPNs, load balancers and security groups
• Automate infrastructure deployment and operational tasks using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell or Python
• Support container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes where required
• Monitor cloud usage, performance and cost, and recommend improvements
• Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures and incident reports
• Work with internal teams, customers and vendors to resolve technical and service-related issues
• Participate in scheduled maintenance or after-hours support when required

Employment Type: 12-Month Renewable Contract
Salary: Up to SGD 6,000 per month

We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Engineer to support the implementation, administration and operation of enterprise cloud environments. The successful candidate will work closely with infrastructure, network, security and application teams to ensure cloud services remain secure, reliable and highly available.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, systems administration or platform operations
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
• Good understanding of Windows and/or Linux administration
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, identity management, backup and monitoring
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code or automation tools is advantageous
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices would be an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and documentation skills
• Able to communicate effectively with technical teams, customers and stakeholders
• Relevant AWS, Microsoft Azure or Kubernetes certification would be advantageous
• Candidates should be based in Singapore and possess valid Singapore work authorisation
