Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Singapore seeks a Software Engineer (Building Operation Center) to ensure cloud-based building services are reliable and responsive. You will monitor Forge cloud apps, investigate service cases, and work with Field Service Professionals to restore service and improve customer outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software engineering, strong cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and familiarity with Building Management Systems and HVAC operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, focused on monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based applications.
• Working knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-monitoring tools.
• Experience collaborating with field service teams or operations groups.
• Experience using logging, alerting and incident management systems for timely resolution.
• Experience with Building Management Systems and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Forge cloud applications remotely, assess system health and performance.
• Triage Forge-generated service cases and coordinate with Field Service Professionals to resolve issues.
• Use Forge data to identify opportunities and provide actionable insights to Field Service.
• Investigate connectivity and performance issues, tracking through resolution and escalation as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service reliability and customer outcomes.
• Provide clear feedback to back-end teams to support product and platform improvements.
