Job summary

Data Connect Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Singapore. You will manage and support critical virtualization, storage, backup, and cloud infrastructure for enterprise environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with Hyper-V, VMware, Azure Stack HCI, Windows Server services, and disaster recovery. You will work with customers and internal teams on deployment, maintenance, optimization, and security compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure deployment and support.
Strong experience with server, virtualization, storage, backup, and cloud environments.
Experience supporting Windows Server and enterprise virtualization technologies.
Basic to intermediate networking knowledge (VLAN, TCP/IP, routing, VPN).
Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Veeam is an advantage.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to work in a team.
Willing to perform after-hours support when required.
Relevant technical certifications (Microsoft, VMware, AWS, Veeam) are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Support and manage virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, VMware, and Azure Stack HCI.
Configure Windows Server services including ADDS, DNS, DHCP, GPO, NPS, File Server, and Failover Clustering.
Deploy and maintain cloud and hybrid infrastructure on Azure, Azure Stack HCI, and AWS.
Configure and manage enterprise storage (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, SMB, Fibre Channel, NFS).
Perform infrastructure troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.
Support backup and disaster recovery solutions like Veeam.
Perform system monitoring, patching, firmware updates, health checks, and maintenance.
Participate in migration, upgrade, consolidation, and transformation projects.
Coordinate with customers, vendors, principals, and internal teams during implementation.
Prepare technical documentation (designs, test plans, SOPs, handover).
Provide technical recommendations and infrastructure improvement proposals.
Support managed services operations, incident handling, and escalation.
Assist in solution planning, sizing, and pre-sales support.
Ensure security, operations, and compliance best practices in projects.
