Job summary

Singlife is seeking a highly experienced Cloud Architect to join the Cloud Centre of Excellence. This hybrid role combines architecture leadership with hands-on engineering to design enterprise-scale cloud solutions and translate architecture into automated implementations.

You will shape Singlife’s cloud strategy, standards, security controls, and governance while partnering with CloudOps, SRE, DBA, security, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, cost-optimized platforms.

Qualifications

• 7–8+ years in cloud architecture and engineering roles.
• Hands-on with AWS core services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM).
• Strong container and orchestration knowledge.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Job Summary

Singlife is seeking a highly experienced and hands-on CloudArchitect to join the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) team. This is a hybridrole requiring both architecture leadership and strong engineering executioncapabilities.

We are looking for a candidate who can designenterprise-scale cloud solutions and translate architecture into workingimplementations through automation and modern engineering practices.

The successful candidate will help shape Singlife’s cloudstrategy, architecture standards, security controls, governance framework, andcost optimization initiatives while working closely with application teams,CloudOps, SRE, DBA, security, and business stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• 7 – 8+ years of experience in cloud architectureand engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS core servicesincluding EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, ELB, RDS, EFS, FSx, S3, KMS, Secrets Manager, EventBridge, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking conceptssuch as VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, routing, and security controls.
• Solid understanding of container-based deployments, orchestration, and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Ansible, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as GitLab, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-optimized architectures.
• Good understanding of cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, secrets management, and access controls.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the abilityto engage stakeholders across different levels, including engineers, architects, and management teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications such as:
