Job description

Clinical Project Manager
Why This Opportunity?

An established and growing CRO is seeking a Clinical Project Manager to join its Singapore team and take ownership of complex studies across the APAC region.

This is an opportunity for an experienced clinical operations professional to step into a genuinely end-to-end project leadership role, managing studies from proposal and start-up through to database lock and close-out. You'll work directly with sponsors, influence trial strategy, and have significant visibility across both internal and external stakeholders.

Unlike many project management roles that are heavily administrative or limited in scope, this position offers real ownership, autonomy, and exposure to the full clinical development lifecycle.

The Opportunity

As Clinical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the operational delivery of regional and international clinical trials, ensuring studies are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will serve as the primary contact for sponsors, coordinate cross-functional teams, oversee vendors and sites, and drive study execution from beginning to end.

The role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys balancing strategic oversight with hands-on trial management and wants greater ownership of study outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage clinical studies from start-up through close-out
  • Act as the primary sponsor-facing project lead
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and forecasts
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Data Management, Medical Writing, Biostatistics, and external vendors
  • Drive study execution across multiple APAC countries and international regions
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks before they impact study delivery
  • Manage investigator sites, CRO partners, and third‑party vendors
  • Oversee study start-up activities including feasibility, site identification, contracting, and activation
  • Ensure compliance with ICH‑GCP, local regulations, SOPs, and sponsor requirements
  • Lead project meetings, governance reviews, and executive‑level updates
  • Support audit and inspection readiness activities
What We're Looking For
Essential
  • Proven experience independently managing clinical trials as a Project Manager
  • Prior experience within a CRO, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical environment
  • Demonstrated ownership of studies from initiation through completion
  • Experience managing project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations
  • Strong sponsor-facing communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of ICH‑GCP and international clinical trial regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Highly Attractive
  • Background as a Senior CRA, CTM, CPM, or Clinical Project Manager
  • Multi‑country APAC trial experience
  • Exposure to global studies
  • Experience in Oncology, Vaccines, Rare Disease, or Specialty Therapeutic Areas
  • Previous leadership of CRAs, study teams, or matrix project groups
What's on Offer?
  • High‑visibility project leadership role
  • Exposure to both regional and global programs
  • Direct interaction with sponsors and senior decision makers
  • Significant autonomy and study ownership
  • Diverse therapeutic area exposure
  • Opportunity to work within a growing and entrepreneurial clinical environment
  • Clear pathway for progression into more senior project leadership positions
