Job summary

RAFFLES HOSPITAL PTE LTD is seeking a Laboratory Technician to assist in sample preparation, perform standard laboratory assays, and coordinate workflow across Stat, Urgent and Routine requests. Qualifications

• At least aNITEC/Diploma/Degree in Medical Technology/Biotechnology/Biomedical Science or any
• Minimum 1 year of working experience
• A team player with initiative and adaptive to changes

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of samples with guidelines and prepare specimens for analysis
• Perform laboratory tests as stated in the standard procedure manual
• Co-ordinate general workflow and prioritise laboratory requests according to Stat, Urgent and Routine
• Able to operate and calibrate most laboratory instruments
• Perform periodic preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments
• Validate the accuracy of laboratory data
• Perform new procedures as directed
