Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our clinical lab team in Singapore. The role involves performing routine and specialised tests, processing patient specimens, and ensuring accuracy across all analyses.

Applicants should have a Diploma/Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Biomedical Science, with at least 1 year of relevant experience and the ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biomedical Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical laboratory experience.
• Experience in at least one specialty: Microbiology, Blood Bank, Haematology, Clinical Chemistry, Histology or Cytology.
• Prior hospital or diagnostic laboratory experience preferred.
• Able to work rotating shifts where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialised laboratory testing according to assigned specialty.
• Process and analyse patient specimens accurately.
• Conduct quality control checks and ensure reliable test results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot testing issues.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
