Qualifications

• Recognized Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent.
• 1–3 years clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory operations, safety standards and quality management.
• Proficiency with LIS and MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; good communication.

Responsabilités

• Registers patient samples and handles client inquiries; prints and faxes results.
• Performs and verifies results across laboratory disciplines listed.
• Performs QC activities and discusses issues with section lead for corrective action.
• Maintains instruments; reports non-functioning equipment to the section lead.
• Conducts regular validation of minor equipment and participates in IQA/EQA and proficiency testing programs.
