Job summary

MindChamps Allied Care @ East Coast PTE. LIMITED is seeking a qualified child psychologist to assess and diagnose developmental conditions, delivering formal reports for school placement.

The role involves conducting IQ and adaptive testing, advising parents on school options, and providing parent coaching, behavioural interventions, and language accommodations for neurodiverse children in a supportive clinical setting.

Qualifications

• SPS Registered.
• Masters in Psychology.
• Extensive experience in Child Psychology, esp. neuro-divergence.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including coaching parents.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide a formal diagnosis of children’s developmental conditions (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia) through written reports.
• Conduct IQ and adaptive tests, and provide reports for enrolment in Special Education schools.
• Help recommend parents on school options.
• Assess and intervene for anxiety, mood disorders, anger management, etc. (for clinical psychologist).
• Provide exemption of second language or accommodation for children with learning challenges, where needed.
• Recommend parents on the educational path of a child with neurodiverse needs.
• Provide psychological/ behavioural intervention.
• Provide parent training to parents of children with developmental needs on emotional regulation and behavioural management.
