Job summary

The Hearing Centre in Singapore is seeking an audiologist to evaluate hearing and related disorders, conduct screening, and perform diagnostic audiological assessments. You will evaluate hearing aids and provide recommendations for devices to customers.

You will counsel on device usage, warranty, and maintenance, follow up on fittings, and verify settings. Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team and the ability to converse in local dialects with elderly customers are essential.

Qualifications

• Evaluate hearing and related disorders of the auditory system.
• Conduct screening and diagnostic audiological assessments.
• Perform hearing aid evaluations and trials, and recommend devices.

Responsibilities

• Help patients fitted with chosen hearing aid.
• Counsel on device usage, warranty, proper care and maintenance.
• Follow up on the hearing aid, verify and validate hearing aid settings.
• Conduct outcome measures to determine the benefit hearing aid fitting.
• Work collaboratively with a multi-professional team.
• Able to converse in local dialects dealing with elderly customers.
