Job summary

The National Heart Centre Singapore is seeking a Medical Officer to assist in all aspects of cardiac procedures and patient care within the Department of Cardiology.

Successful candidates hold a recognised basic medical degree and meet licensing requirements, with at least 3 years of post-housemanship experience. English proficiency is essential, and vaccination documentation may be requested prior to commencement.

Qualifications

• A recognised basic medical degree.
• Passed the national licensing examination as required in the country where the degree was conferred.
• At least 3 years’ post-housemanship experience as a medical officer (or equivalent) in the relevant field.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Documented proof of vaccination as required for healthcare workers.

Job description

You will assist in all aspects of cardiac procedures and patient care in the Department of Cardiology. Suitable candidates will be offered contract employment.

Requirements:

• A recognised basic medical degree




• Passed the national licensing examination as required in the country where the basic medical degree was conferred (if applicable)




• At least 3 years’ post-housemanship working experience as a medical officer (or equivalent) in the relevant field / specialty or possess a postgraduate medical qualification in the relevant field /specialty




• A good command of English (both written and spoken)




• Documented proof of:

(i)Measles (or MMR - Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and

(ii)Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination received within the last 10 years, as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act.
