Job summary

National Heart Centre Singapore is seeking a capable clinical technologist to perform cardiac investigations including ECGs, treadmill stress tests, tilt tests and echocardiograms for patients. The role also involves assisting cardiologists during invasive procedures such as angiograms and catheterisations, ensuring patient safety and smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science (Biology/Physiology) or Diploma in Medical Technology/ Biotechnology with at least 2 years' relevant working experience.
• Applicants without relevant work experience are welcome as on-the-job training will be provided.
• Vaccination proof: Measles (or MMR) immunity or vaccination; Diphtheria booster within 10 years; required vaccinations for Covid-19 as per MOH guidelines.

Job description

You will carry out various cardiac investigations and procedures such as electrocardiograms, treadmill stress tests, tilt tests and echocardiograms for our patients. You will also assist cardiologists during invasive procedures such as angiograms and catheterisations.

Requirements

• Degree in Science (Biology/Physiology) or Diploma in Medical Technology/ Biotechnology with at least 2 years' relevant working experience
• Applicants without relevant work experience are welcome as on-the-job training will be provided
• Documented proof of :
• (i) Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity ; and
• (ii) Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers underthe Healthcare Services Act with effect from 3 January 2022. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement upon successful interview and are offered employment
