Job summary

The Straits Eye Centre is looking for a Clinic Executive to support our East-side clinics (Bedok and Parkway East). You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinating appointments, patient flow and front-line service to ensure a smooth, welcoming patient journey.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Healthcare Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• Experience in clinic operations, healthcare administration or customer service will be an advantage.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced clinic environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine patient-first mindset.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable handling administrative and financial matters accurately.
• A team player who is reliable, proactive and willing to take ownership.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with doctors and the wider clinic team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient journey.
• Provide warm, professional and attentive front-line service, assisting patients with their enquiries and needs.
• Manage appointments, registration, patient flow and scheduling, ensuring accurate and timely coordination.
• Coordinate closely with doctors, optometrists and clinic staff to support an efficient workflow.
• Handle billing, insurance claims, Medisave submissions and administrative matters accurately.
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold patient confidentiality and data protection.
• Monitor clinic inventory and ensure medical supplies and consumables are adequately stocked.
• Assist with clinic administrative tasks and follow up on operational matters when required.
• Ensure the clinic operates in accordance with internal policies, clinical workflows and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve clinic processes and contribute to a positive patient experience.
