Job summary

Union Medical Clinic & Surgery (Toa Payoh) is seeking a clinic assistant to join a high-volume, station-based workflow. You will register patients, verify IDs, and ensure correct records are created in our clinic app, guiding patients to the right stations.

The role includes handling medical tests, taking basic vitals, and maintaining a welcoming experience for a diverse patient base. Prior clinic exposure is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with computers and learning new clinic systems.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Comfortable with foreign worker / multi-nationality patients.
• Meticulous with patient identity and data accuracy.
• Able to follow structured SOPs and work at pace.

Responsibilities

• Register patients: scan IDs, create records, and place patients in the right queue.
• Order, prepare and submit the required medical tests for each patient.
• Take basic vitals and move patients smoothly to the next station.
• Maintain a smooth, comfortable patient experience for a largely non-English-speaking base.

About Us

Union Medical Clinic (Toa Payoh) is a pre-employment health screening clinic. We run a high-volume, station-based workflow and are looking for a clinic assistant to be part of our expanding team. The Role

• Patient registration: scan and verify IDs, create patient records in our clinic app, and make sure every patient starts in the right place

• Handling of medical tests: ordering, preparation and submission of the correct tests for each patient based on their requirements

• Vitals, body measurements: take basic measurements and get patients moving smoothly to their next station

• Public relations: Maintain a smooth, comfortable patient experience for a largely non-English-speaking patient base

Who we are looking for

• Comfortable with computers and picking up new technology systems for clinic

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Comfortable with foreign worker / multi-nationality patients

• Meticulous with patient identity and data accuracy

• Able to follow structured SOPs and work at pace

• Prior clinic or screening-center experience is a strong plus
