Job summary

BNL WASTE MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Class 4 licensed driver for waste and recycling collection.

You will follow routes, load/unload per Work Order, and maintain documentation on disposal receipts and service orders. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, safe operation, adherence to traffic laws, and handling waste materials. Applicants should have 2+ years’ driving experience and be able to work a 6-day week from 8am to 5pm.

• Six-day work week, 8am–5pm.
• Vehicles to be parked back in office premises.

Responsibilities

• Drive the vehicle to perform all kinds of waste and recycling collection per schedule, safely and timely.
• Follow routes and instructions from the Operations Planner and undertake other tasks as assigned.
• Load and unload materials per Work Order.
• Maintain service orders, disposal receipts, and related documents; follow procedures for documentation.
• Inspect vehicle before and after work per Truck Daily Checklist; ensure functionality and safety.
• Operate vehicle safely and comply with safety rules for people and surroundings.
• Follow all traffic and safety laws and regulations.
• Handle diesel/oil, waste water, refuse/recyclables and spillage.
• Identify vehicle/bins faults and inform Maintenance Dept.
• Keep vehicle interior and exterior clean.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Office.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Drive the vehicle to perform all kinds of waste and recycling collection in accordance to the schedule in a safe, professional and timely manner

• Follows the scheduled route and instructions provided by the Operations Planner and perform any other jobs/order allocated by the Operations Planner

• Perform loading and unloading of materials and other manual labour work according to the Work Order

• Responsible for all the Service Order, disposal receipts and other documents related to the job and to adhere to the internal Operational Procedure on the issuance, completion and return of the documents to Office

• Conduct inspection of the vehicle before and after work to ensure the operational functionality and safety features are in accordance with the Truck Daily Checklist (especially brakes, clutch, lights)

• Operate the vehicle safely at all times and ensure safety adherence to the surroundings and people

• Observe all relevant traffic and safety laws and regulations

• Be able to handle diesel/oil, waste water, refuse/recyclables and other spillage

• Identify faults/defects on the vehicle and bins and inform Maintenance Dept

• Upkeep of vehicle’s interior and exterior and maintain its cleanliness

• To perform any other duties assigned by the Office
