Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is hiring a Class 4/5 Truck Driver for waste collection and transport at our Tuas location. The role requires a valid Class 4/5 license with a good driving record and preferred experience with prime mover, vacuum truck, or flatbed equipment.

Basic salary is SGD 2,400 plus trip allowances, with a gross monthly range of SGD 3,500–4,500 inclusive of trip allowance. Working hours are 5.5 days from Monday to Friday 8am–5pm and Saturday 8am–12noon.

Qualifications

• Possess Class 4/5 driving license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• To drive the company’s truck for collection and transportation of wastes.
• To comply with all Traffic rules and practice safe driving habits.
• To comply with regulations on transportation of hazardous liquids/chemicals on public roads.
• To ensure proper containers, bins, drums, etc., are used and secured before driving.
• To perform Operator’s Level daily maintenance of the trucks.
• To monitor maintenance and LTA inspection schedules and inform the Supervisor two weeks before due date.
• To monitor road tax/insurance validity and inform two weeks before expiry.
• To assist in collection of waste from clients’ premises.
• To assist in unloading, segregation, and storage of Waste.
• Adhere to Plant Safety Rules and observe safe work practices.

Role:

Class 4/5 Truck Driver

• Working hours: 5.5 days Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm; Saturday: 8am to 12noon
• Location: Tuas (Company Transport / Transport Allowance $120 if candidate travel to work by themselves)
• Basic $2400 + Trip Allowances, Gross Salary: $3,500 – $4,500 (Inclusive of trip allowance)

Requirements

Possess Class 4/5 driving license (Good record)

With prime mover, vacuum truck or flatbed experience preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

• To drive the Company’s truck for collection and transportation of wastes.
• To comply with all Traffic rules, and to practice safe driving habits whilst driving the Company’s trucks.
• To comply with all rules governing the transportation of hazardous liquids/chemicals on public roads.
• To comply with all anti-littering laws and to this end, ensure that proper containers, bins, drums etc., are used to hold the Waste, for safe transportation.
• To ensure that the containers, bins, drums etc., are properly secured/lashed to the truck, before driving off.
• To perform Operator’s Level daily maintenance of the Company’s trucks.
• To monitor the Maintenance and/or LTA’s Inspection schedules of the Company’s trucks and to inform the Supervisor at least two (2) weeks before the due date.
• To monitor the validity date of the Road Tax and/or Vehicle Insurance policy and to inform the Supervisor at least two (2) weeks before the expiry date.
• To assist in the collection of waste from clients’ premises.
• To assist in the unloading, segregation, and storage of the Waste.
• In discharging the above duties, to adhere to all Plant Safety Rules and to observe safe work practices.
