Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Class 4/5 Truck Driver for Tuas, with company transport and a transport allowance of SGD 120 if the candidate travels to work independently.

The role offers a basic salary of SGD 2,400 plus trip allowances, with a gross total ranging SGD 3,500 to SGD 4,500 per month. Key duties include transporting wastes, maintaining safety, and complying with hazardous materials regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Class 4/5 driver with clean record.
• Experience with prime mover, vacuum truck or flatbed preferred.
• Must comply with traffic and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive Company trucks for collection and transportation of wastes.
• Ensure safe driving practices and compliance with traffic rules.
• Adhere to regulations for transporting hazardous liquids/chemicals.
• Use proper containers and secure loads.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance.

Job description

Class 4/5 Truck Driver

• Working hours: 5.5 days Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm; Saturday: 8am to 12noon
• Location: Tuas (Company Transport / Transport Allowance $120 if candidate travel to work by themselves)
• Basic $2400 + Trip Allowances, Gross Salary: $3,500 – $4,500 (Inclusive of trip allowance)

Requirements

Possess Class 4/5 driving license (Good record)

With prime mover, vacuum truck or flatbed experience preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

• To drive the Company’s truck for collection and transportation of wastes.
• To comply with all Traffic rules, and to practice safe driving habits whilst driving the Company’s trucks.
• To comply with all rules governing the transportation of hazardous liquids/chemicals on public roads.
• To comply with all anti-littering laws and to this end, ensure that proper containers, bins, drums etc., are used to hold the Waste, for safe transportation.
• To ensure that the containers, bins, drums etc., are properly secured/lashed to the truck, before driving off.
• To perform Operator’s Level daily maintenance of the Company’s trucks.
• To monitor the Maintenance and/or LTA’s Inspection schedules of the Company’s trucks and to inform the Supervisor at least two (2) weeks before the due date.
• To monitor the validity date of the Road Tax and/or Vehicle Insurance policy and to inform the Supervisor at least two (2) weeks before the expiry date.
• To assist in the collection of waste from clients’ premises.
• To assist in the unloading, segregation, and storage of the Waste.
• In discharging the above duties, to adhere to all Plant Safety Rules and to observe safe work practices.
