Job summary

MMC Success Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a full-time waste collection driver to operate company trucks for transporting waste and hazardous materials. You will follow traffic rules, use GPS navigation, and ensure proper containment and securement of loads.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle checks, assisting in client waste collection and unloading, and strict adherence to plant safety rules and safe work practices. Prior experience with prime movers or flatbeds is preferred.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 Driving License.
• Good knowledge of local roads with map-reading and GPS navigation skills.
• At least 1 year of relevant driving experience preferred.
• With prime mover, vacuum truck or flatbed experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Company's truck for collection and transportion of waste.
• Ensure compliance with all Traffic rules, and to practice safe driving habits whilst driving the Company's trucks.
• Comply with all rules governing the transportion of hazardous liquids/chemicals on public roads.
• Comply with all anti-littering laws and to this end, ensure that proper containers, bins, drums etc., are used to hold the Waste, for safe transportion.
• Ensure that the containers, bins, drums etc., are properly secured/lashed to the truck, before driving off.
• Carry out daily operator-level maintenance on the company trucks.
• Assist in the collection of waste from clients' premises.
• Assist in the unloading, segregation and storage of the Waste.
• In discharging the above duties, to adhere to all Plant Safety Rules and observe safe work practices.
