Job summary

RICH CONSTRUCTION COMPANY in Singapore is seeking a proactive Assistant Project Engineer to support the project manager on-site and off-site, focusing on technical issues, coordination with clients, consultants, and authorities.

You will prepare architectural samples, shop drawings, and related documents, coordinate site inspections, track progress, and supervise subcontractors while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised by PE Board or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering; preferable for this position.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with on- and off-site meetings pertaining to technical issues.
• Responsible for submission of architectural samples, shop drawings and related documents to consultants or authorities.
• Coordinate and monitor work progress at site, including periodical site inspections and meetings during construction.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and progress against the work schedule.
• Site supervision and coordination with subcontractors, RE and RTO.
