Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Singapore renovation and A&A projects preferred.
• Able to read construction drawings and understand specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant quantity surveying software.
• Strong attention to detail, communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates and bills of quantities.
• Prepare tender submissions and source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate quotations and assist with procurement and contract negotiations.
• Prepare progress claims, assess subcontractor claims and handle variation orders.
• Monitor project budgets, costs and expenditure.
• Prepare final accounts and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, project teams and subcontractors on contractual and cost matters.
• Attend site visits and meetings as required.
