Housing and Development Board in Singapore is seeking an experienced Civil/Infrastructure professional to lead and manage projects across water sustainability and civil infrastructure from design through handover. You will collaborate with consultants, contractors, Town Councils and government agencies to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.

The role emphasizes R&D and innovation in automation, AI, low-embodied-carbon materials, and sustainable roads.

Formación

• Background in Civil/Structural Engineering with at least 5 years in civil/infrastructure and project management.
• Experience in design reviews, authority submissions, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Experience in drainage and water infrastructure, roads and geotechnical works is advantageous.
• Strong communication, stakeholder and contractor management with proactive mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Manage water sustainability and civil infrastructure projects from design to handover, monitoring progress and resolving site issues.
• Review C&S designs, drawings, submissions and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Manage key project and contractual matters: progress claims, variations, inspections, close-out.
• Support performance monitoring and post-implementation evaluation; apply lessons learned to improve spec and deployment.
• Initiate and manage R&D/innovation projects from identification to test-bedding and implementation.
• Explore AI, automation, robotics, low-embodied-carbon materials and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with research institutions, industry partners and Town Councils to test-bed solutions and measure outcomes.
