Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a capable construction professional to interpret drawings, standards, and project specs, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

The role involves coordinating with consultants and stakeholders, developing construction programmes, monitoring activities to meet schedules, and maintaining quality, safety, and documentation across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret technical drawings, ISO standards, project specifications, contractual requirements and subcontract agreements.
• Work with consultants and project stakeholders to address technical discrepancies and resolve issues before work commencement.
• Develop and monitor short- and medium-term construction programmes in consultation with the project team.
• Coordinate and monitor construction activities to ensure timely completion in accordance with approved schedules and project requirements.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, quality management procedures, EHS standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain high standards of site housekeeping, workplace safety and construction quality.
• Implement quality management measures, maintain inspection and testing records, analyse results and recommend improvements.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation for quality, EHS, client and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor material consumption and construction methods to control wastage, prevent damage and reduce unnecessary costs.
• Coordinate corrective actions to minimise rework, abortive works, programme delays and additional expenses.
• Perform other project-related tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
