Job summary

Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking an experienced on-site supervisor for erection activities on civil projects.

The role requires coordinating with sub-contractors and operation teams to ensure smooth daily operations and strict adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree and has at least five years in construction, including two years in supervising bridge, viaduct, or road projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in construction, including 2 years in supervision for bridge/viaduct/roads projects (Road / LRT / MRT / Viaduct).
• Technically expert and highly knowledgeable in erection of heavy structures.
• Candidates with prior experience in LTA Projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day erection activities on site.
• Plan, organize, supervise and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams.
• Perform routine checks and inspections on site to ensure compliance with authorities’ requirements.
• Address to concerned party regarding the safety of any erection operations.
• Provide reports to construction team regularly.
• Liaise closely with HSE team to ensure operations comply with safety standards.

• To ensure that day to day erection activities/operations are monitored at an appropriate level
• Plan, organize, supervise and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams on all ongoing erection activities
• Perform routine checks and inspections on site to ensure the compliance with authorities’ requirements
• Address to concerned party regarding the safety of any erection operations
• Provide reports to construction team regularly
• Liaise closely with HSE team to ensure operations comply with safety standards

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the construction field; inclusive of 2 years experience in construction and supervision for bridge/viaduct/flyover structures and roads project (Road / LRT / MRT / Viaduct)
• Technically expert and highly knowledgeable in erection of heavy structures
• Candidates with previous experiences in LTA Projects is an advantage
