Job summary

HYUNDAI ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION CO. LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead erection activities for bridges, viaducts, and road projects.

You will coordinate with sub-contractors, monitor day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with authorities, and maintain safety standards in collaboration with the HSE team. Proficiency in Korean is required to liaise with Korea HQ and local teams, while coordinating with the Singapore branch to drive project progress and quality

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in the construction field.
• Experience must be in construction and supervision for bridge/viaduct/flyover structures and road projects (Road / LRT / MRT / Viaduct).

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Construction Manager
• To ensure that day to day erection activities/operations are monitored at an appropriate level
• Plan, organize, supervise and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams on all ongoing erection activities
• Perform routine checks and inspections on site to ensure the compliance with authorities’ requirements
• Address to concerned party regarding the safety of any erection operations
• Provide reports to construction team regularly
• Liaise closely with HSE team to ensure operations comply with safety standards
• PT Stressing and PC Segment erection
• Coordinating with HQ (South Korea) Construction team
• Act as key liaison for Korean Speaking executives, staff and/or partners
• Provide periodic updates with project progression to Korean Headquarters and Singapore Branch Office in Korean

Job Requirements

• Previous experiences in LTA Projects is an advantage
• Technically expert and highly knowledgeable in erection of heavy structures
• Proficient in Written and Spoken Korean to act as a key liaison for Korean-speaking executives, staff and partners
