Job summary

Visi Intergroup Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support planning, coordination and execution of Civil Engineering projects.

You will work with the Project Manager, consultants, main contractors and site teams to ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently and according to project requirements. The role offers exposure to coordinating drawings, documentation and subcontractors; reading construction drawings, and assisting in method statements and risk

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Strong academic foundation with an interest in project and site management
• Up to three years of relevant construction or site experience
• Able to read and understand construction drawings
• Relevant internship, industrial attachment or project experience will be considered favourably

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in coordinating daily construction and site activities
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams
• Review construction drawings and highlight discrepancies, coordination issues or required clarifications
• Maintain proper control and distribution of drawings, documents and revisions to relevant parties
• Assist in preparing method statements, work procedures and risk assessments
• Monitor site activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements
• Coordinate labour, materials and equipment required for daily site operations
• Monitor project progress and follow up with subcontractors on outstanding work
• Participate in progress and coordination meetings with subcontractors and project stakeholders
• Support compliance with quality, occupational safety, health and environmental requirements
