Job summary

UNDERGROUND TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks a Civil/Structural Drafter to prepare and revise construction drawings from designs and site mark-ups.

You will coordinate with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to translate concepts into clear, coordinated drawings. Key responsibilities include producing RC, drainage and utilities drawings, updating as-built documents, and supporting PUB/LTA submissions while ensuring drafting standards and revision control are

Qualifications

• Diploma/Nitec in relevant discipline.
• 3-5 years of relevant drafting experience in civil/infrastructure construction; PUB and/or LTA project experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; able to independently prepare construction/shop and as-built drawings.
• Knowledge of MicroStation and BIM tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise civil/structural construction and shop drawings from design drawings, engineering mark-ups and site requirements.
• Prepare drawings/details for RC structures, drainage/sewerage, manholes/chambers, shafts, pipe jacking/tunnelling, excavation/ERSS, roadworks and utilities.
• Prepare reinforcement details, sections and construction details required for execution on site.
• Incorporate comments from engineers, consultants, authorities and site teams, and coordinate interfaces with other disciplines/subcontractors.
• Liaise with site personnel to verify actual conditions and update drawings from site measurements.
• Prepare and maintain as-built drawings and proper drawing numbering, revision control, CAD files and drawing registers.
• Assist with PUB, LTA and other authority submission drawings and comply with applicable project/authority drafting standards.
• Support BIM/3D coordination where applicable and proactively highlight drawing discrepancies, clashes and constructability issues.

Job description

o support the delivery of infrastructure projects by preparing, coordinating and maintaining accurate and constructible civil and structural drawings for construction, shop drawing, authority submission and as-built purposes. The Drafter will work closely with project/design/site engineers, consultants and subcontractors to translate engineering designs, sketches, mark-ups and site information into clear and coordinated drawings.

Job Specifications

• Diploma / Higher Nitec / Nitec in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building, Engineering Drafting or related discipline.
• Preferably 3-5 years of relevant drafting experience in civil/infrastructure construction; PUB and/or LTA project experience is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; able to independently prepare construction/shop and as-built drawings.
• Good understanding of civil/structural construction methods and detailing. Experience in drainage, sewerage, utilities, roadworks, RC structures, tunnelling, pipe jacking or ERSS is advantageous.
• Knowledge of MicroStation is advantageous, particularly for LTA projects. Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks or other BIM software is an added advantage.
