Job summary

Sinohydro Corporation Limited (Singapore Branch) is seeking an experienced Civil & Structural Draftsman to produce and check drawings for infrastructure projects. You will prepare design drawings, ensure quality compliance, and coordinate with vendors and clients in Singapore.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong AutoCAD proficiency, and familiarity with tunnel project standards. Workplace at Clementi, salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Civil & Structural drawing for infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge in AutoCad software is a must.
• Knowledge of Engineering Principles and familiar with industry specific standards and regulations relating to tunnels.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare drawings to meet project requirements.

• Check drawings for conformity and accuracy to avoid clashes between disciplines.

Job description

1) Responsible for all drafting and preparation of drawing

2) Prepare design /proposal drawings to specifications set by requirements

3) Ensure that all drawings are done in accordance with company's quality procedure

4) Produce all required drawings and details for submission to authorities, Client and Consultants from design intent and information, specifications and in accordance with good industry practice.

5) Assist, prepare and update construction /shop drawings and combined services drawings for consultants’ submission and approval

6) Check and verify drawings for conformity and accuracy to identify and prevent potential conflict among all disciplines.

7) Incorporate data from topographical surveys and geophysical reports to prepare drawings

8) Liaise with vendors and clients to ensure specifications are met

9) Interpret Architectural and Structural drawings and prepare RFI's where needed

10) Schedule and monitoring program activity to achieve on-time result including follow-up with external suppliers to ensure timely response to action items

11) Work out on material take-offs from all engineering drawing

12) To create construction layout/detail under direction from Design Manager/Design Engineer

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Civil & Structural drawing for infrastructure projects.
