Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Civil Design Engineer for renewable energy projects, based at Pasir Panjang Rd. The role focuses on civil/structural design and site preparation for energy storage and renewable installations.

You will collaborate with consultants, clients and authorities to ensure designs meet local regulations and project timelines, while overseeing safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITE in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• At least 2 years in civil/structural design or consultancy in construction/engineering.
• Familiar with local regulations (BCA, SCDF) and safety requirements.
• Willingness to travel overseas for training/project sites.

Civil Design Engineer (Renewable Energy Projects)

• Salary Package: Up till $6500 basic + variable bonus

• Company Industry: Energy, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) sectors

• Working location: Pasir Panjang Rd

• Working Days/Timings: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Civil & Structural consultants on designs, structural plans and engineering reviews.

• Support civil design work for renewable energy and energy storage projects, including site preparation, drainage and earthworks.

• Oversee civil engineering work to ensure designs and construction meet project requirements and local regulations.

• Liaise with clients, internal teams, consultants and authorities to keep projects on schedule.

• Attend project meetings and site visits, provide technical input and resolve engineering issues.

• Review drawings, reports and specifications for accuracy and compliance.

• Monitor site activities and support compliance with safety requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum ITE/Diploma/Higher Certificate in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• At least 2 years of working experience in civil/structural design or a consultancy company within the construction or engineering sector, with preference for experience in renewable energy or related projects.

• Familiarity with construction processes, local regulations, BCA, SCDF, and safety requirements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and civil engineering software/tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D).

• Require travelling overseas (including China and project sites in Asia) for training or project requirements.
