Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Civil/Design Engineer to oversee civil engineering aspects of renewable energy and energy storage projects in Singapore. You will collaborate with Civil & Structural consultants to ensure designs meet project requirements while coordinating with clients and authorities.

The role involves site visits, preparation of drawings and reports, adherence to BCA and SCDF safety standards, and travel to project sites across Asia as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in civil/structural design or a consultancy within construction/engineering, preferably renewable energy.
• Familiarity with local regulations (BCA, SCDF) and safety requirements.
• Diploma: Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity (SDCP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and civil engineering software/tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D).
• Willingness to travel overseas for training or project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Civil & Structural consultants to develop structural schemes and analyses, ensuring designs meet project requirements and standards.
• Participate in design and development of civil engineering aspects for renewable energy and energy storage projects, including infrastructure, drainage, site prep and earthworks.
• Oversee design and implementation of civil elements, ensuring compliance with industry standards, BCA regulations, and SCDF safety requirements.
• Act as a key contact for clients, internal teams and authorities, coordinating stakeholders for timely project execution.
• Attend project meetings and site visits, providing technical input and identifying solutions to engineering challenges.
• Ensure construction processes and site activities align with regulations and company safety standards.
