Job summary

Bitmain Development Pte. Ltd. is seeking engineers to plan and implement analog/mixed-signal circuit designs, optimize performance, and verify through simulation and testing.

You will design high-performance, ultra-low voltage circuits using advanced processes and deliver integrable digital units aligned with PPA requirements. The role emphasizes expertise in power supplies,Prototyping, and in-house EDA tooling; experience with single-board hardware design and layout is valued.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in fields such as Mathematics, Physics, Electronic Science and Technology, Microelectronics, Information and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, or Materials Science and Engineering.
  • Excellent academic performance with strong curiosity and ability to learn and transfer knowledge.
  • Understanding of IC development process with a foundation in digital circuits and practical skills.
  • Familiarity with microprocessors and solid grounding in analog/digital circuits, EM fields, microwaves, and signal processing; single-board hardware design experience is preferred.
  • Experience in power supply design, including topology concepts and core components like magnetics and power devices; development and debugging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement analog/mixed-signal circuit designs, optimize performance, verify via simulation, and perform testing.
  • Design high-performance, ultra-low voltage custom circuits for advanced processes, delivering modular digital units per PPA requirements.
  • Handle hardware design and debugging of switch-mode power supplies across R&D and mass production.
  • Design of analog chips or IP, transistor-level design, layout planning, timing library extraction, and SRAM/DRAM/RRAM customization.
  • Develop chip design processes, in-house EDA tooling, and monitor chip yield optimization.
  • Evaluate, design, and test circuit systems for products, and assist in PCB layout tasks.

Job description

Responsibility
  • Responsible for the planning and design implementation of analog/mixed-signal circuit solutions, performance optimization, simulation verification, and testing-related work.
  • Responsible for the design of high-performance, ultra-low voltage custom circuits under advanced processes. Able to deliver integrable digital units or modules based on specific PPA requirements, starting from transistor selection, layout effect analysis, and unit logic merging and simplification, with a focus on underlying optimization thinking.
  • Responsible for the hardware design and debugging of switch-mode power supplies, solving hardware technical issues during product development and mass production stages.
  • Multiple tasks including but not limited to:
    • Design of commonly used analog chips or IP, transistor-level circuit design and simulation, layout planning and design, timing library characterization extraction, and custom design of SRAM/DRAM/RRAM.
    • Development of chip design processes, In-House EDA tool development, and tracking and optimization of chip yield.
    • Principle evaluation, design, and testing verification of circuit systems for products.
    • Completing or assisting in PCB layout design.
Requirement
  • Candidates without experience or those who graduated within the past year with a master's degree or higher in fields including but not limited to Mathematics, Physics, Electronic Science and Technology, Microelectronics, Information and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, or Materials Science and Engineering.
  • Excellent academic performance, with a strong curiosity, learning ability, and knowledge transfer capability in new areas and related professional fields.
  • Understanding of the IC development process, with a certain theoretical foundation in digital circuits, practical skills, and innovation ability.
  • Familiarity with the working principles of microprocessors, with a solid foundation in analog circuits, digital circuits, electromagnetic fields and microwaves, and signal processing. Experience in single-board hardware design, simulation, implementation, and debugging is preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of the working principles and control methods of various power supply topologies, familiarity with the design, selection, and application of core components such as magnetics and power devices. Experienced in power supply design, development, and debugging is preferred.
