Join a dedicated kitchen team and work closely with the Head Chef to ensure consistent food quality, safety, and presentation. The role requires flexibility for shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Previous working experience as a Chef or in a similar kitchen position.
• Experience in Chinese cuisine / seafood preparation preferred.
• Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Relevant culinary qualifications are an advantage but not mandatory.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, presentation, and food quality.
• Handle ingredients properly and maintain freshness and quality.
• Perform food preparation, cutting, marinating, cooking, and plating.
• Monitor food inventory and inform the kitchen team when ingredients need to be replenished.
• Minimize food wastage and control ingredient usage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.
• Properly clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workstations.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team during daily operations.
• Assist with receiving and checking food supplies when required.
• Support menu preparation, special events, and banquet operations when necessary.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Head Chef or management.
