Job summary

CBRE Pte Ltd, based in Singapore, seeks a Technical Engineer to lead engineering operations and supervise technicians, vendors, and subcontractors. The role covers preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and ongoing asset management across M&E systems.

You will also support the rollout of a new asset management system, ensuring data governance, process standardization, and training to drive adoption and efficiency. Safety, compliance, and KPI delivery are core expectations.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: 3 - 5 years in facilities/engineering; HVAC/chiller/BMS experience; exposure to CMMS/asset system rollout a plus.
• Skills: Communication, organization, analytics; read HVAC schematics; interpret chiller/BMS trends; data cleansing and SOP creation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with technicians/vendors; provide day-to-day direction.
• Monitor BMS/EMS, alarms, setpoints; support asset lifecycle (PM, spares).
• Apply standards, statutory compliance, and change control.
• Contribute to budgets and KPIs (uptime, PPM, SLAs; chiller COP, availability, water treatment compliance).
• Drive continuous improvement (sequencing, setpoints, VFD tuning); troubleshoot chiller faults.
• Pilot and refine workflows in the new asset system; capture feedback and improve data quality.
